Superfoods have increased in popularity as more people recognize the many health benefits associated with eating the foods. Many people have heard about acai berry, blueberries, aloe vera and goji berries. But what are other superfoods and can they benefit your health? Superfood or not, there’s no denying that these fruits and vegetables possess some remarkable health attributes. Even though fruits and vegetables are considered to be a superfood, you will still need to eat a balanced, low-calorie diet to achieve the best health results.

An even more powerful superfood is green tea. Green tea is known to have several health benefits. One of these benefits is the ability to prevent cancer. Research has shown that drinking green tea daily can decrease the risk of certain types of cancer, including colon and breast cancer.
